Wir Kinder vom Bahnhof Zoo - Christiane F.

This is one of my favourite movies, and has some lesson to give us: the drug problem with teenagers. Based in a real history, it shows a part of Christiane F, a german 13-year-old girl, life.
Back in 1976, the young Christiane F is living with her mother and sister, bored in a small apartment. She knows about the new disco in the city center, the Sound, and though she hasn't enough age to get into, she dresses with high wheels and heavy make up. There she knows Detlef, an older boy, who became her boyfriend.

At Sound, everybody experiments various drugs. The next day, she uses LSD during David Bowie's concert - an artist she is crazy about (and so am I).

There she uses heroin for the frist time, by snorting it. As she falls in love with Detlef, she begans using it even more frequently, as a way to they get closer. And by get closer him, she also gets closer to the drug.

She starts going to the Bahnhof Zoo, a railway subway, known for the drug traffic and prostitution. Christiane and Detlef start selling theirselves, in order to get money to buy heroin. She also steals from her home, sells all hers possesions.

After being found by her mother unconcious on her bathroom, she and Detlef, with help from her mother and stepfather, decide to stop using drugs. Their abstinence crises is shown the crudest and most realist way possible. You can see how she goes from an ordinary teenager to a weak and sick girl.

Dealing with drugs isn't easy. You can see this clearly on this movie. Christine was and is an example to us - it's exactly what we shouldn't be. By seeing hers history, we know how important is to avoid drugs.

See you guys next post!! Hope you watch the movie!! :))
